July Wrap-Up

Hello!! I know it’s already mid-August but welcome to my July wrap-up! I haven’t been posting much because I’ve been super busy with school and work and just life in general. I might make a life update post soon because so much is happening. Enjoy!

The Grief Keeper by Alex Villasante

4/5

I really enjoyed this book. I mean, there was Latinx f/f representation!! The concept was so interesting. Def recommend!

We Contain Multitudes by Sarah Henstra

3/5

I really liked how the format of this book is in letters. The age difference kind of weirds me out but if they were adults it would’ve been okay! So much happened, wow. Overall, it was okay.

If Only… by Dahlia Karlin

4/5

I was asked to review this by the author and I’m so glad I agreed! This was so powerful and there’s so many things to learn from it. Check out my full review here!

Slated by Christina Lanier

5/5

O.M.G!!! This book was absolutely incredible!!! The concept, characters, and everything was amazing! Please check out this book and my full review here!!

Internment by Samira Ahmed

5/5

Yes, yes, and yes!! So so so so important!! Everyone should read this because it’s amazing! I loved the plot, characters, and the concept. Read this if you haven’t already!

The Darkest Legacy by Alexandra Bracken

4/5

I finally finished this series! I read the first four books back in January and just read this one. I loved that it was from Zu’s perspective. The reason I gave it a 4/5 was because I felt like it could’ve been shortened a bit. I didn’t feel it had to be almost 600 pages, it would’ve been just as great with 400 pages. I really did enjoy it though!

Thank y’all for reading! I hope you enjoyed 🙂
